Project: The Oak House - A marvelous restoration with modern-vintage style.
An 80-year-old heritage house converted with the guise of post modernism style which delighted my soul by given up to the mark satisfaction to my client Mr. Amit Goyal a contractor living in Neemuch in their magnificent vintage home.
Started with the client's requirements as they wanted a Royal luxurious ambience all around with a tinge of modern comforts. I plan to create it with an empirical color palette and patterns shades of deep greens, turquoise, antique gold and coral made it achieve the subtle and lush appearance.
Whereas the vintage patterns created a very eminent feel to the area.
The selection of this color palette was an idea to create a masterly balanced in each and every corner with the blend of all 5 elements of nature. Gold is for fire and sky there where as turquoise is for sky and water given a heavenly aura. While green signified balance, growth, wealth and freshness. To add a glorious charm of Royalness coral played a very tremendous part. So bold white and turquoise massive pillars and gold arches highlights the inside elevation very firmly.
The corridor walls in coral and gold with patterned ceiling and vintage fans give a cozy warm feel from the entrance to the grand innermost classy lounge area.
Enclosed with soft camel brown carpet the lounge is the utmost luxurious part of the house with a very bold gold ceiling the lounge is decorated with vintage patterned olive wallpaper and so extravagant the brass lamps with firebird and floral coves.
I decided not to put any chandelier to left a balance to the upper most and bottom most area of the room. So importantly the furniture has its own words to speak up the story of craftsmanship and their ornate classy elements.
There are 2 attractions in the area "the twin vintage center tables in the lounge" and a huge and very antique one of a kind diwan bed in the media room.
Very modern and versatile deep green and ivory white sofas were very essential for comfort and enormous gatherings which very auspiciously serve seats for 12 to 15 members at a time.
It's a very conspicuous room which has very calmly fallen out white curtains like a waterfall adorned with brass pelmets.
Accessories like mirrors, paintings lattice wall frames and vintage floor lamps added an enigmatic charm to the ambience.
it's a home which achieved a luxe mood and excellent moderation with the use of finest materials, craftsmanship and skills. The transformation is very vibrant and a bespoke heritage to a very pleased client.
